5 Days Mount Kenya Hiking Sirimon Route
The 5 Days Mount Kenya Hiking adventure via the Sirimon Route is one of the most scenic and gradual ways to reach Point Lenana at 4,985m, the trekking summit of Africa’s second-highest mountain. The route approaches Mount Kenya from the drier north-western side, passing through forests, heathland, and the spectacular Mackinder Valley.
With three nights on the mountain at Old Moses and Shipton’s Camp, the ascent allows time for steady acclimatization before the early-morning summit climb. No technical climbing is required—just good fitness, steady pacing, and determination.
Park fees, full-board meals, porters, cook, treated water, English-speaking mountain guide, and summit certificate are included.
